The first round of student placements for next school year have been completed. While there will be minor adjustments between now and next school year, the adjustments to students on the wait list will take place at the end of August.
Student Competition winners
Flat Rock Welding student had 11 out of 15 of their students qualify for the State finals in Skills USA. Out of these, four ended up winning state medals. They were:
Andrew Bryant took 3rd place in OFC Oxy Fuel Welding
Edan Fowler took 3rd in GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding
Evan Fron took 3rd in SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Caleb Mcgee took 1st GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
